Mihai Botezatu

EU & national public funds
Mihai Botezatu
  • The financing projects by European structural funds and also by national public funds are extremely complex, requiring diverse expertise and high-level integrated skills. The mix of specialists dedicated to this domain with experienced consultancy lawyers is mandatory for elaborating the financing projects by European structural funds, the necessary documentation and the implementation system, the financial foresight modeling and the integrated management withing the projects.

A lot of great ideas remain inapplicable due to lack of proper funding. Funding possibilities exist to the full, but one must know where to look for and to be aware of the associated risks of such endeavor. It is hard to equalize or to describe the people’s joy when they can see their ideas successfully become reality with our contribution!

With a solid professional background, combining the experience and vision from the inside of the public sector with the stringency and risks of the private sector, Mihai adjected his professional status with an academic dimension within the higher education. Thus, after he had operated in the public sector within the Ministry of Labor, Family and Social Protection he became Director of AMPOSDRU within the Ministry. Subsequently, he moved to the private sector as specialist in European structural financing funds, working as Coordinator of the Structural Funds Department within the Community Development Agency “Together” and as Manager of the European Funds Department at S&T Romania.

Since 2015, Mihai teaches Project Management, as associate professor at Romanian-American Univeristy

Nowadays, Mihai owns the firm “Botezatu Consultancy and Projects SRL”.

The integrated services supplied through the professional partnerships integrated by Istocescu&Vintilă, is completed by the fusion and adjustment of the professionals’ fees mixed up within services, hence it results discounted fees comparatively with the fees practiced by each self-professional (“one stop shop”).
